Photograph of a soldier of the ANZAC Mounted Division in Palestine standing with two horses. Probably photographed by Lieutenant-Colonel Charles Guy Powles in 1917 The original envelope from which this negative came was labled "Wadi Ghazze at Tell El Fara and Palestine Plains." It is probable that the photograph was taken between April the 20th and 29th 1917 when the division was in this area south of Gaza. Quantity: 1 b&w original negative(s).
