Description

Grave of Temuc, the wife of a whaler, who died on 25 September 1846. Photograph taken, possibly by William Duncan Ross McCurdie, in the 1890s. The date 1884 in the album caption has been written over the previous entry of 1846. It is unclear whether this is an erroneous reference to the date of death, or to the date the photograph was taken.
