Shows five different Maori tombs or mausolea: 1. Mausoleum of E Tohi, the mother of Rauparaha, on the island of Mana. It is richly adorned, covered with wood, painted and decorated with feathers. The body would originally have been placed in a sitting position. 2. An upright sepulchral monument at a small island pa in Tory Channel 3
