Description

Shows Bertha (Arbuthnot) Burnett in 1829, aged about 27, possibly just before the date of her marriage to Samuel Burnett. Painted in Edinburgh. She is dressed in green and is wearing a lace cap and collar Typescript on verso gives provenance and information about Samuel and Bertha Burnett. Copy on 3/1/1/4 8 April 1987.
