Description

Young Men's Christian Association secretaries photographed on Crete prior to the blitz. These workers had been in Greece with NZ troops. Identified as: John Ledgerwood (leader of the party), Ian McIvor, 'Snowy' G Riddell, Jack Beaven, 'Snowy' Gordon Watson, Don Hunter. The first two and the last are stated to have been taken POW in Crete.
