Mr and Mrs Munro, with their baby, photographed at their home in Matakana in 1863 by Daniel Manders Beere. A shotgun is leaning against the wall at left, and a dead bird is lying on the verandah. The family was identifed from the papers of James Coutts Crawford, who visited the area in 1864.
