War memorial gates, Stratford district, photographed by John Reginald Wall, circa 1926. On Anzac Day 1926, the gates at Victoria Park, erected as a memorial to Stratford soldiers who fell in World War One, were officially opened by Major-General Sir Andrew Russell KCB KCMG.
