Description

Plan of the proposed city of Wellington that was to be located near the mouth of the Hutt River and Petone, Lower Hutt City. The area covers 1361 acres, exclusive of streets and terraces, with 261 acres for government purposes, squares, public buildings, hospitals, schools, markets, wharves, and 1100 acres for settlers for building purposes.
