Shows a dairy farm and outbuildings on rolling country, with stands of native bush in the foreground and middle distance. In the lower left foreground clematis and rata are in flower beside a nikau palm. A stream flows across the foreground from a waterfall at the right where a man fishes with a rod. A group of Maori on horseback pause on the bank of the stream. A little further off, stockmen on horseback drive a herd of cattle, and cattle and sheep graze further off in front of the homestead...
