Brigadier H S Kenrick, Director Medical Services 2 NZEF, speaking on the occasion of the handing over of a cheque donated by repatriated personnel to the Red Cross Society at the 23rd New Zealand Field Ambulance Unit at Maadi Camp, Egypt. This cheque for an amount of £1814 was donated by the repatriates while on their way back from German POW camps in appreciation of the assistance given to them while POWs.
