Description

The bulldozers building the hydro-electric Clyde dam on the Clutha River are knocking over the temple pillars of 'The Law'. Bruce Beetham's Social Credit Party supported Robert Muldoon's National government in the passing of special 'fast track' legislation which overrode the existing legal protection of land owners, so that the Clyde dam could be built.
