Outlines the case of a patient successfully treated for De Quervain's tenosynovitis, a stenosing tenosynovitis of the first dorsal compartment of the wrist at the radial styloid caused by impaired gliding of the tendons of the abductor pollicis longus (APL) and extensor pollicis brevis (EPB) muscles, caused by thickening of the extensor retinaculum.
