Description

Reorients the focus from attitudes and interactions to consider the structural bases of Māori-Asian relations through the lens of group boundaries. Examines three aspects of group boundaries : 1) relative group size; 2) relative group status position; and 3) inter-ethnic partnering patterns. Pays particular attention to how ethnic categories and classifications shape the representation of intergroup relations.
