Shows Maori with pigs in the foreground and a carved canoe prow, dwellings and other buildings of the pa, the palisade, the harbour and ships in the background Attributed to Gilfillan by the Library in 1974; however the initials, lower right, do not read J A G, nor do they match Gilfillan's monogram.
