Wooden Maori carvings, carved by Te Amo and Wero, that originally formed the ridgepole of Rangitihi meeting house at Taheke, Lake Rotoiti. The two figures were joined at the feet. Photographed by an unknown photographer circa 1890s. Note on back of file print reads "... The portion at left is now in Leipzig, that on the right is St Petersburg."
