During a visit to the New Zealand Divisional HQ on the Italian Front, General Sir Alan Brooke (Chief of Imperial General Staff) passes down a line of German prisoners, who have just been brought in. With him are General Bernard Montgomery, General Sir Harold Alexander and General Bernard Freyberg. Photograph taken circa 16 December 1943 by George Frederick Kaye.
