Shows a group of flowering foxgloves against the wall of a wooden house, in bush surroundings. Accompanied by detached backing sheet showing title. Attributed to Jane Stowe on stylistic grounds. Jane and Leonard Stowe occupied the house Tiakiwai, Stowe Hill, Tinakori Road, for many years. The name Muriel written on the back may refer to Mrs Watt's first name, Muriel, or to her mother, Emily Muriel Lysaght, daughter of Jane Stowe.
