Shows Britannia holding a New Zealand flag at left, and a Maori warrior to right of a shield bearing three bulls' heads pierced by swords and surmounted by a helmet and a bull's head. The original drawing for this plate is at A-136-005. This was the standard bookplate used in the Library's early days. See TL 3/1/1/ 12 Sept 1986 Quantity: 1 b&w art print(s). Physical Description: Relief print, 112 x 76 mm.
