Three unidentified Samoan girls wearing traditional Samoan clothing. Photograph taken by Malcolm Ross probably in either 1899 or during the early stages of World War 1. Ross went to Samoa in 1899 and at the beginning of World War 1 (Information from the Dictionary of New Zealand Biography, 1993, Vol 2,page 400a).
