Three men, one holding an axe, one a bucket, stand in front of various logs being chopped at. Part of a whare style house to the left and a dog lies on the right. An open-ended meat safe is nailed to a tree. Bush forms a backdrop. Print : 15 in print file envelope DU436.1181 T55 Henry Winkelmann holds the bucket and the other two men are Harry and Ernest Osborne. In November 1888 Winkelmann bought 200 acres at Oruawharo (now Medlands Beach)
