Drawn by two Maoris, one with survey experience and approved by Te Patukakariki, 29 August 1861...Sent to Colonial Office, CO 209/165, Grey to Newcastle, 6 December 1861. This map is extremely detailed, showing nearly two hundred owners. Only about a tenth of the block is shown as belonging to Teira and the sellers.
