Description

Portrait of Mr Steven R Neil, one of the survivors from the S S Elingamite wrecked on the rocks at Three Kings Islands, 9 November 1902. He was adrift on one of the ships rafts from Sunday morning till Thursday afternoon without food or water. Of the 16 people adrift on the raft, 8 succombed and were buried at sea.
