A watercolour sketch of three military guards standing along verandah of the Guard Room at Albert Barracks, Auckland. The Albert Barracks (situated on land later used as Albert Park) was the largest early military establishment in New Zealand, covering some 23 acres, existing between 1846 - 1871.
