Description

Looking up Wakefield Street, showing the Wellington Town Hall with clock tower (right), pedestrians on both sides of street, a truck in road (left centre). The Dental and Medical Supply Company building on the corner of Cuba Street and Wakefield Street opened in October 1922. The clockface on the Wellington Town Hall been manually added to the photo after it was taken. The clock was not installed until October 1923, see AWNS-19231122-44-03.
