Description

Ready to take the water: a completed bridge deck cruising launch. Waterfront shipyards at Auckland present scenes of interesting and busy activity. The building and overhauling of trading vessels, fishing launches and similar craft provides shipwrights with a considerable volume of work, while builders of pleasure craft are also kept very busy meeting the steady demand created by the popularity of yachting and launching at Auckland. Some of the various activities are illustrated here.
