Description

Assesses changes in the application of the NCEA. Discusses student-centred learning and the need for students to develop transferable generic skills to cope with an ICT-heavy future, and argues that the NCEA is now moving back to screening and sorting students for the benefit of universities and the government. Advocates inclusive student-centred learning instead of dividing children into those who can and those who can't.
