Description

Heretaunga Post Office, cnr Fergusson Drive and Bathurst Street. It was built by Mr L.H. Luckens of Lower Hutt and was opened by the Postmaster-General Sir Joseph Ward on 15 April 1918. A March 21, 2018 'Leader' centenary article said that the first postmistress, Mis L C Moir, lived in quarters at the rear. The Post Office was closed on 5 February 1988.
