Tony van Dyk and son Jason, 5, Upper Valley Gliding Club 24/2/91. The Rolladen-Schneider LS4 is a Standard Class single seat glider. In January 1995 Tony came fifth in Standard class in the world championships, held in Omarama. he had competed in world championships in 1989 and 1991, but in 1993 was focused on buying a new German glider; it cost $120 000 and was equipped with GPS, which was used in the world Championships in 1995.
