On the 10th July 1967, New Zealand changed currency from pounds, shillings and pence to the decimal currency that we use today. In preparation for this change, this photo shows the training that staff at the Bank of New Zealand underwent to become familiar with the new currency. The staff often would take part in training sessions in which "dummy money" was used and act as tellers and customers.
