Fancy Dress Youth Dance St John's Hall. In the centre of the picture wearing the onion outfit is Christine Cathro from Sacred Heart College, winner of the girls' prize for most original costume. The dance, for fifth and sixth formers and ex-pupils, was organised by Father Kelly and a team of prefects from Heretaunga, Upper Hutt, St Patrick's, St Bernard's and Sacred Heart colleges.
