Description

Coral Marjorie Alexander. A 'Leader' article on March 12 1969 described the opening of the first House of Fleur, owned by Coral Alexander, Joan's daughter, at 382 Main Road; this would be near Trentham School. Coral was also a designer and dressmaker. She married Philip Russell Kidd in 1970. Her mother, Joan, opened a second 'House of Fleur' in Geange Street in August 1969. This was a retail outlet; it moved to Maidstone Mall in October 1975
