Caption: This relatively new form of bush fire fighting using a fixed wing aeroplane put on an awesome display at the Festival of the Pines at Trentham Racecourse over the weekend. The aircraft is a turbine-powered Cresco 750, derived from the Fletcher Utility FU-24; it could carry 2000 litres of liquid. this one was Wanganui Aero Work's, and alternated with one from Rangitikei Air Services, of Taihape.
