Description

Caption: Don MacDonald and Barry Nightingale of MacDonald Nightingale Car Sales which recently became Upper Hutt's sole Lada dealer. Printed in greyscale in the ‘Leader’ on November 29, 1993. Ladas were Russian cars; the first were based on the Fiat 124 design; rugged and cheap, but old-fashioned. The firm later moved to the north-east corner at the intersection of Pine Avenue and Queen Street.
