Caption: Tom Edser of Edsers Footwear Repairs in Pine Avenue. The business had started in Logan Street in 1957, and moved to Pine Avenue after 30 years. It was sold to John Halstag in 2000. It later moved to Princes Street, and then to 125 Main Street, probably late in 2013. Other services occasionally offered included key cutting and cane and leather for craft work. Picture printed in the 'Leader' on 19th June 1990
