Caption: Standing in front of the long awaited new Te Marua-Mangaroa Playcentre are Sue Hartendorp and Marina Brocklebank, holding daughter Lisa, with Kassie Hartendorp and Ellie Tongue in front. After three years of planning and fundraising, the $150 000 centre on Parkdale's Emerald Hill Drive will be officially opened this Sunday at 2pm. Printed in greyscale in the ‘Leader’ on May 3, 1993.
