Caption: Birchville and Maoribank Schools were host to 23 Japanese teachers recently, observing New Zealand teaching methods. Here Birchville pupils Michelle Voisey, standard 2, Shintaro Yamaji (centre) and Mamoru Terada study a book called Japan Today.
