"Inseparable mates".. seven-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier "Gypsy" was totally blind but she had no trouble recognising her best friend and owner Dave Meiklejohn. Complete with dark glasses and top hat, Gypsy was placed third in the best dog's fancy hat section of the Upper Hutt Animal Rescue Society's moggy dog show in February 1999.
