Pam Ritchie (pictured) caught the Mako shark during the annual New Zealand-wide Ngawi Big Three competition on the Wairarapa Coast. This landed her the Heaviest Fish Caught by a Woman title, and second biggest fish overall, out of more than 1400 anglers.
