Description

Wellington Hurricanes and All Blacks rugby player Tana Umaga signs an autograph at Birchville School in March 1998. Watching on are colourful teachers Dave Burcher, Karen Marshall and Sharon Robertson and principal Lynley Marwick. The school held a yellow and black day in conjunction with the visit, which was one of a handful of school appearances that Umaga made in Upper Hutt. Printed in colour in the ‘Leader’ on April 1, 1998.
