Star of the Sea Convent from Beach Rd, Howick. Date unknown, however more recent than the Photograph 11070, from the vehicles included in the picture. The building in the front of the one with a rose window does no longer exist. The buidling also facilitated orphanage run by the Sisters of Mercy. The building is used as Howick Children's and Youth Theatre since 2008 and the exterior is painted in orange/beige. http://www.hcyt.org.nz/history/index.html
