Description

The New Zealand unemployed and poor gain an Oscar award for portraying 'Les Miserables'. They 'thank' the reasons ('The govt... the economy...corporate greed...) which have contributed to their 'success'. The film of the musical 'Les Miserables' won awards at the annual Oscars ceremony in 2013. The anger at the despair and deprivation shown by Hugo in his original work was closer to that of the New Zealand poor than to the glitter of the Oscar awards. Quantity: 1 digital cartoon(s).
