A woman on the left leading a haka, a mere in her hand. Behind her are 6 men engaged in a haka, four with rifles, one with a tewhatewha (a long-hanled bladed club) and one at the rear with a long-handled axe Very similar to a drawing by Gilfillan in the Hocken Collections "War Dance", accession 6,444 2:42.
