A citizen contemplates the living wage policy declared by Hamilton City council and thnks that he can hardly wait 'for their living level of rates policy'. In May 2013 the Hamilton City Council promised to pay all of its permanent employees a living wage (i.e. slightly more than the official minimum pay level).
