Next in Line: The Young Cartoonist Award

A DigitalNZ Story by Alexander Turnbull Library

A joint initiative between the New Zealand Cartoon Archive and the Listener, the Young Cartoonist Award was designed to discover and encourage our country’s up-and-coming cartooning talent. Open to those aged 18 to 35, the competition recognised the work of three very talented finalists: winner Cory Mathis, and runners-up Jeff Bell and Toby Morris. The exhibition Next in Line is currently showcasing some excellent cartoons by a wide range of entrants.
