Description

Nelson College students rehearse for the college's production of Foreskin's lament in 2009. First performed in 1980 and 1981, the play was a powerful and critical exploration of the values of rugby and has retained relevance over the long term. It was written by Greg McGee, a former Junior All Black, who later worked with Richie McCaw to write McCaw's autobiography, The open side. Published in 2013, this was claimed to be the fastest-selling book in New Zealand's history.
