Scott Wills began his screen career in the early 1990s, with appearances in soap Shortland Street and short films Permanent Wave, The Hole and Ouch. In 2000 he was nominated for two acting awards (for Ouch and romantic comedy Hopeless) before winning an NZ Film Award for movie Stickmen.
