Microscope, 'Society of the Arts' type, compound monocular, metal / glass / wood, possibly made by S Maw, Son & Thompson, London, England, [1855-1877], used by Dr I Lovegrove, New Zealand, [1877-1910] This is a compound monocular microscope encased in a wooden carry box.
