Forest & Bird has been protecting and restoring New Zealand's natural heritage for over 90 years. In the Bay of Plenty, Forest & Bird set up and manages a volunteer group which cares for 500 hectares of native forest in the Kaimai Mamaku Conservation Park. The aim is to restore the wildlife and plant life to this part of the Kaimai Mamaku Forest Park. Set up in 2006 by Forest & Bird Tauranga and the Katikati Rotary Club and supported by local landowners and Ngai Tamawhariua. Project volunteer...
