Description

Lesley was born in Foxton in 1928, he received his primary and secondary education in Palmerston North where he had lived since the age of four. Mr Hunter was a poultry farmer and Company Director, married with two children. As well as his political activities, he was active in the Jaycee movement. He was the Social Credit League's candidate for the Palmerston North electorate in 1969 and for the Ruahine electorate in 1972 and 1975
