Murray and three vets owned Pet Vet clinics at Taita and Silverstream, and the Lower Hutt Animal Hospital; the group won the large-business excellence award and the supreme award, the Golden Valley Trophy in the 2000 Telecom Local Directories Hutt Valley Business Excellence Awards. The 2015 name was PetVet. A colour image was printed in the Upper Hutt Leader on 11/10/2000.
